|VOCATIONS CORNER: “A commission is a special
type of command. Jesus received the commission from
the Father to sacrifice and die for the sins of man.
Openness to God’s call and acceptance--- are the
foundation for every commission God gives to us.
In this Sunday's Gospel, Jesus tells us not to worry
about “what are we to eat” or “what are we to drink?”.
Jesus asks us to serve the one Master and not worry
about tomorrow. Here I am, Lord! Help me, equip
me, and let me serve you."
